What is your time actually worth?

Your payslip shows one hourly rate. It misses a lot. Add the commute, the unpaid hours, the evenings you spend recovering, and the money the job costs you, and the real rate is usually much lower. This works out the honest one. Every number below comes from what you type. Nothing is made up.

What you take home
After tax. What actually lands in your account each month.
€
The hours you are actually paid for.
The hours the job quietly takes
Door to door, both ways, all week.
The extra you give that does not show on the payslip.
Getting ready, packing, work admin done at home.
Time you spend just recovering from work each week.
The money the job quietly costs
Commute fuel or tickets, work clothes, lunches bought because of work, childcare for work, and so on.
€
Time your head is still at work when you are off. We name this, we do not hide it in the number.
